One of the most beautiful yachts I've ever seen was docked right down from 'Little Wing'.

Veronica has a beautiful smile. She's a marketing major in college and I'm sure she'll own her own company someday.

| I took an afternoon and walked the back roads near the Yacht Squadron and found this pond on top of the hill toward the ocean. |

Just down the road was a grassy area that was full of wildlife. Several deer ran from the field as I approached.

Down the road a way was another marina. It wasn't as nice as the Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron, but it had character of it's own.

| Docked next to us was 'Hayseed IV' built in 1912. She's all wood and doesn't have an engine. This is one of the most beautiful yachts I've ever seen. I gave the owner a jar of Feta Cheese in olive oil and spices. I hope they enjoy it. |

This yacht was on display at the Maritime Museum in Halifax. I spent an entire afternoon there exploring the exhibits. They have a wonderful website, so I didn't take many pictures. My favorite part of the museum was the display about Sable Island. We'll be sailing past the island in a few days and the history of the area was fascinating.

| Time to fill the water bottles for the trip from Halifax to the Azores. We will have enough water for drinking, but we'll have to use sea water for washing and cleaning. |
